May 2015: Promoting Paris CDG Airport Area abroad

In charge of promoting the Paris CDG Airport Area on the international scene, the Hubstart Paris Region® Alliance is taking part in two major events dedicated to world-class airport areas in May 2015:

  • The Smart Airports & Regions Conference in Atlanta (USA), 4-6 May 2015

Thanks to the links forged with Atlanta's airport area since a cooperation agreement was signed in 2011, the Hubstart Paris Region® Alliance will play a prominent role in this conference:

A sponsor of this event which will bring together for two days more than 600 professionals from the Airport City sector (airport players, developers, economic developers, urban planners, etc.), the Hubstart Paris Region® Alliance will also be taking part in a round-table discussion dedicated to the leading airport areas, of which Paris CDG Airport Area is one.
On behalf of the Hubstart Paris Region® Alliance's partners Elisabeth Le Masson – Sustainable Development Manager for Aéroports de Paris – will present the Paris CDG Airport Area, a genuine powerhouse of business in France, creating jobs and wealth, and bringing together many benefits for international investors in one place.

  • Airport Cities Asia Pacific Cenference in Chengdu (China), 13-15 May 2015

The goal of this new annual event is to study the Airport Cities and Aerotropolis phenomenon: How can an airport area be the economic powerhouse for an entire region? How can development, infrastructure and transport projects be developed and financed? How can local players and stakeholders be brought together and how can they work together?
These topics will be covered during three days by the international participants, who will share their know-how, their experiences and their best practices to contribute in the development of an Aerotropolis.

The event is being sponsored by the Hubstart Paris Region® Alliance, which is also doubling as an exhibitor to present the Paris CDG Airport Area as well as the Alliance’s own services, together with ADP-Ingénierie, a subsidiary of Aéroports de Paris that designs and develops airport platforms and major infrastructure worldwide.

Paris CDG Airport Area will also be centre-stage on 14 May 2015 during a round-table discussion which Elisabeth Le Masson will take part in and highlight the benefits of one of the world’s premier airport areas.
